Garden Gang
Repeats · Saturday mornings through the season
The friendly crew who keep our planters, borders and green corners looking lovely. Bring gloves and a flask. Many hands make light work.
Farnley Tyas Community Group
A village on a hill, four miles south of Huddersfield, and the people who help look after it. News, events, and a hand whenever it's needed.
Hello
We're a friendly group of residents who put on events, look after the village's green corners, share local news and stand up for Farnley Tyas. Whether you've lived here for decades or arrived last week, there's a place for you.
The group grew, back in 2006, from neighbours who wanted a say in the village's future. Today we run everything from scarecrow festivals and film nights to litter picks and the community garden, and we meet on the first Wednesday of each month to talk over what's next.
